Kitchen use
Fridges on lower ground and ground floor are available only for Wesley Mission’s congregations.
To ensure cleanliness of the kitchen facilities for use by all congregations:
- Label any food that you put in the fridge with your name and the date you stored it there. If you brought it in for everyone to enjoy, label it accordingly.
- Avoid storing food that has been reheated twice as this leads to a higher chance of food poisoning.
- The fridge will be cleared every week of all unlabelled and spoiled food, including any container it is stored in.
- Wash and dry dishes immediately after use. Don’t let them soak in the sink.
- If you use the last of a supply, replace it or notify Reception at christianlife@wesleymission.org.au. This might include tea/coffee, disposable cups, plastic utensils, paper towels, dish soap, etc.
- Store your food in sealed containers to avoid spillage.
- Store food in the shelving labelled for your congregation only and do not take anything from other congregation’s allocated shelves.
