About the Congregation

Why do we exist?

Our heart is to be part of God’s renewing work in Parramatta in collaboration with others, as we help people grow as disciples of Jesus. Wesley Mission has a longstanding history and passion in loving and serving people in ways that meet practical, relational, and spiritual needs. Wesley Western Sydney is an overflow of this passion.

Parramatta is an amazing city full of diversity, life and promise alongside significant needs. We’re excited to be part of what God is already doing here to bring faith, hope and love in partnership with Parramatta Community Uniting Church (PCUC) and others.

Who it’s for?

Wesley Western Sydney is for everyone and anyone whatever your age, background, culture or history might be. If you’re looking for a community, are interested in exploring faith and spirituality and/or want to be part of loving Parramatta, Wesley Western Sydney is for you.

Everyone is welcome in this intergenerational, multi-ethnic, family-friendly, gospel-centred community.

What to expect on a Sunday

When you visit, you will be welcomed into a family friendly, and gospel-centred community that reflects the diversity of Parramatta. You’ll experience contemporary worship, be encouraged by stories, inspired by a Bible-based message, encounter God’s transforming presence in times of prayer, and enjoy connecting with others over some morning tea.

If you have kids they’ll be welcomed into fun and safe programs that will help them to grow in faith and love.

If you’d like, you can join a life group that meets outside of Sunday services to help you grow in your faith with others.

If you’re keen to serve and love the neighborhood, there’s plenty of opportunities! Everyone is Welcome!
